Wilkins RV has introduced the 2026 Alliance RV Paradigm 388SP fifth wheel as part of its inventory of luxury recreational vehicles. This model features a rear living area with a slide patio and multiple amenities designed for extended travel. The introduction highlights updates in the Paradigm series for the current model year.
The Paradigm 388SP measures 40 feet 11 inches in length, with an exterior width of 8 feet 5 inches and a height of 13 feet 6 inches. It has a hitch weight of 3,112 pounds, a gross vehicle weight rating of 19,000 pounds, and a dry weight of 15,528 pounds. The unit includes two 7,000-pound axles and 16-inch tires. Tank capacities consist of 98 gallons for fresh water, 106 gallons for gray water, and 53 gallons for black water. It is equipped with two 30-pound LP tanks and a 12-gallon gas/electric water heater.
Construction incorporates fiberglass exterior walls, a benchmark 8-foot-5-inch wide-body chassis, Mylar reinforced exterior seals, and an insulated laminated rear wall. The fifth wheel features three slideouts and a six-point hydraulic leveling system. Standard equipment includes a 40,000 BTU furnace, 40,500 BTU air conditioning across three units, and 50-amp electrical service. The TSC touring coil suspension and Curt 8,000-pound axles contribute to handling during transport.
Inside, the floorplan focuses on a rear living area with two sleeper sofas, overhead cabinets, and a 50-inch smart TV. A slide patio with a picture window allows for open-air views, complemented by a drop-down TV. The kitchen area contains a 19-cubic-foot 12-volt residential refrigerator, a four-burner Lusso range, microwave, sink, pantry, and hutch. LG solid surface countertops and LED motion lighting in the pantry add functionality. The dinette uses a turntable design for seating flexibility.
The bathroom includes a 48-inch by 30-inch shower, while the front bedroom offers a king bed, ample closet space, a smart TV, and a seat with storage. Additional interior elements encompass bronze hardware, atrium windows, roller shades, a Maxx fan with rain sensor, and an all-in-one enclosed and heated utility center. Exterior amenities feature an outdoor countertop prep area, pull-out grill, and two friction-hinge adjustable awnings with manual override and LED lights.
Optional features for the Paradigm 388SP include dual-pane windows, a super solar plus package, slideout awning toppers, generator prep, generator installation, and full-body paint in gold or black. The model sleeps up to six people and includes provisions for a washer and dryer. Color-coded and numbered wiring simplifies maintenance, while the Helux series coil spring pin box aids in towing stability.
This fifth wheel belongs to the Alliance RV Paradigm line, which emphasizes luxury with consistent features across models such as the 295MK, 310RL, and 395DS. The series maintains an exterior width of 8 feet 5 inches and heights ranging from 13 feet 5 inches to 13 feet 6 inches. Common capacities include 98 gallons of fresh water and 60 pounds of LP gas. Refrigerators measure 19 cubic feet, with four-burner cooktops standard. Showers vary between 48 inches by 30 inches and 61 inches by 30 inches, and all models support 50-amp service.
